Sorry about that folks…been busy with lotsa stuff around here. It’s amazing how a couple weeks can zip by. I haven’t really updated since Cornwall and I think some of the reason is I lost the battery to my camera, doh!. Haven’t really taken many pictures of what’s been going on so an update here on a website, just isn’t crazy exciting.
.
There’s been a ton of maintenance work happenin, I guess it’s becoming that time of year. Leaves are changing, it’s getting a tad colder so folks are thinking of their winter cars.
.
Speaking of winter cars, my beater, the 1998 Subaru Legacy wagon, which I love, has received a few upgrades. I’ll end up doing a post dedicated to my winter vehicles which includes this legacy and my Jeep, but here’s a sneak peek.

Mountain rotors and PBR pads will make the not so healthy braking system lock up again. I actually had a chance, unfortunately I guess to test em out. Was coming off the Mercier and came around the corner into stopped traffic. I tell ya, they brake hard…before, with the stock Subie stuff, the pedal was always soft and mushy, not anymore. I really am becoming more and more of a Mountain Rotor fan.

I also went down to Central Station Customs and had my buddy Donald install an automatic starter…I hate getting into a cold car, and I thank him for his great service. I recommend him to anyone looking for tints, starters, sound systems…anything of the sort. It also worked out well since while I was there, I was able to drop some Amsoil 0w-20 off for him and his kick-ass little VW beetle.

Thanks Chief!

.

The Legacy also got another Amsoil treatment with the 5w30 100% Synthetic Motor oil along with an EAO filter. At almost 270,000km’s and still going strong, the Amsoil will help it stay that way.

.

We’ve done a bunch of brake upgrades lately, but 2 cars that really stick out of the bunch are Dave’s 07 Acura TL. We outfitted this car with Brembo/PBR in the front and Mountain/PBR in the back. He was quick to call and let me know that braking has improved considerably. We also set up an 01 Jetta Wolfsburg with a Zimmerman/PBR setup. He was burning through rear brakes at an alarming rate so I’ll be back with updates about this car.

.

Besides all that, we’ve of course had a great month with Amsoil. Orders are way up, of course with many thanks to Fred over at Napa who keeps many of his customers happy with Amsoil products. We are introducing new products this year so stay tuned for updates on that.

.

(little interruption – I have the hockey game on, Game 1, Mtl vs Toronto and it’s my sad news to report that Toronto is now leading 3-1)

.

There is a lot of news coming including updates from our growing relationship with Mats Baribeau and the Gold in the Net Drift Team

.

(Make that 3-2, Halpern just scored)

.

Currently, I’m in Quebec City in a hotel. My good buddies wedding is Saturday so I came up a lil early to tour the city. Too bad I’m stuck in this hotel room with a nasty cold…

Anyhow, I will be updating later with pics and such of the city and the drive.

.

Until then, thanks for the patience and sorry for the delay in updating!
