For those of you who follow us, you know that we have worked with Dave and his crew for the last three years in his lead up to the Pro-Stock circuit.
It’s been a successful run for all of us, with numerous heat and feature wins, podiums and just plain good racing, Dave has been the centerfold of our Dirt oval racing arena and we’re proud to stand with him as he makes his way into the 2012 race season.
With a new car, new engine and an always the “go get em” spirit, we look forward to see how this season is going to play out. With the help from us, and his other sponsors including Sims Customs Fabrication, Julie Quesnel from Storm Realty and Cj’s Auto he’s sure to be a terror on the dirt ovals all across Ontario, Quebec and NE USA.
Dave and I began working together when he was just starting out with his Nissan in the mini stock class at Cornwall Motor Speedway. Us at Woods Racing / Canada Synthetics were looking for an outlet to support our new Amsoil Synthetic Lubrication dealership and thought it would be a good match. We lucked out when we signed the first contract. Not only is Dave a good driver and a great ambassador for the sport of racing, but he is also a wonderful person off track and carries a family and crew to support him. He’s the real deal and we don’t settle for anything less. Our success together doesn’t only grow at the checkered flag, but with his ever growing fan base, connection and tolerance for this hard earned patch, it’s easy to see why we continue sponsoring him every year. Moving into Pro-Stock with the new chassis and upgraded exposure was simply a bonus and natural progression for both parties alike.

Starting out blank in the DSR garage Dave got to work installing the 602 Code 350ci sealed race engine, along with the carb, its other go fast parts, and with the help of us here at WR, a new front suspension and of course, the fresh new Amsoil fluids from our brother company www.CanadaSynthetics.ca to ensure this thing handling and running smooth all season long.

After the logo’s were cut up and placed on it’s proper spot on the car, it wasn’t long before it started to get attention. It was featured at the Cornwall mall in a display with a couple other selected DIRT race cars and it sure looked good.

And with that the season is on edge to start. We believe Dave has what it takes, he’s got the right car, the right support, and the most important thing: The right attitude.
