So my first week back to work after vacation…it’s always tough that’s for sure.

.

Most of the week was reserved for getting organized, paper work, checking stock returning phone calls…etc. Did have a few cars in though.

.

Robert came back with his awesome STI and we got him fixed up with an oil package which will help keep that car runnin good and a few other oil changes and some regular maintenance stuff. But later in the week was reserved for a video I had to make for www.fordcollection.com.

.

As some of you know I’m an avid guitar player and I especially love custom, special edition guitars…especially if there’s a Mustang painted on it. Last year, www.fordcollection.com released an acoustic guitar, the Ford Mustang Fender Sonoran as pictured here:

.

I did a review on it and posted it up onto youtube…

.

And followed it up with a little vid of me playing around with it:

.

Well, Patrick Wyant from Fordcollection.com saw the review and sent me a note. It seems that fordcollection released a 2010 Ford Mustang Telecaster also…

.

He asked me if I would like to do a review on this guitar, and if so, he’d help me out with the guitar and the shipping and what not…I jumped at the chance! So the guitar came, I played it, loved it, and now have a couple video’s for it…

.

.

I brought my buddy Kevin in to play a couple songs with both guitars, and we had a blast doing it…

.

.

.

It was all about good times yesterday…didn’t get much “work” done..but sometimes you gotta make days like this. Patrick is posting the video’s on the Fordcollection sites including Facebook and hopefully I can help em sell some guitars!

.

Maybe I should get into the guitar business eh??

We’ve all seen em, we’ve all heard em and we all love em. These Subaru WRX STI’s are a one stop, gofast and look good doing it kinda machine.

With it’s 2.5L Turbo, it sends you up the street, in a hurry. The fact that this thing weighs nothing, has loads of handling, and boost that can make any NA guy or gal jealous…are only some of the reasons why I love these cars…or rockets, or whatever you call em.

.

Robert picked up this STI earlier this year, and has been contemplating the different mods. After installing a blow-off valve, the car not only sounded awesome, but now needed a bit of a drop to go with it.

.

For this we chose Tein lowering springs. The install was simple enough, but I did have to remove the entire back seat to get to some of the bolts. But besides the 85 degree temps in the shop, this bad boy STI now has a stance that will tame any sport car drivers hunger.

.

Now..we specialize in Mustangs, and other Fast Fords here, but we do service pretty much anything. There is quite the difference to my rugged, bigger blocked power of the WR04 vs this tiny turbo rocket. Acceleration feels completely different, and you can’t help wanting to turn every corner at 90mph’s. The Mustangs have that brute force style…and these lil things…all of a sudden you’re ripping up the track…it’s a cool feeling.

.

There are going to be more suspension mods to this car, not that it already doesn’t perform, but hey, we’re in the busniess of going FASTER. So I can’t wait to follow the build on this thing. So stay tuned, next week it’s coming back for an Amsoil treatment!
